MMSEZ

BUSINESS OFFER

The MMSEZ comprises two greenfield sites to the north and south, with a total land area of 11500 ha. The 8000-ha south site is earmarked for mineral beneficiation and green energy generation, while the north site covers an area of 3500 ha earmarked for agro-processing, logistics and general manufacturing. The south site recently obtained environmental authorisation for mineral beneficiation and green energy generation.

The north site has environmental authorisation for agro-processing and general manufacturing. The MMSEZ will be developed using a phased-in approach, with the first phase starting with infrastructure development on the north site, using the approved master plan.

Of the north site’s 3500 ha. 350 ha has been earmarked for the development of Phase 1. The designated area for development has environmental authorisation for general manufacturing and AllM agro-processing. Currently, the engineering planning and design for bulk infrastructure such as water, sewage, electricity, roads and security infrastructure has been completed and construction is expected to start in April 2022. glo The 350 ha area comprises nine demarcated zones designated for light industries, automotive production, logistics, agro-processing and metal beneficiation. All these zones require investment.

All MMSEZ sites are connected to the existing regional and national road and rail network, capable of carrying both light and large freights. The MMSEZ’s geographical location offers an additional advantage and benefit for investors to participate in domestic and global value chains.
